East Coast Percussion:

Drum Center of Portsmouth is proud to announce our custom drum venture: East Coast Percussion. From the heart of Rockingham, these outstanding drums are absolutely limitless in option. We are sourcing American Rock Maple, Vintage Mahogany, Birch and even Acrylic shells for these drums featuring “Edge-tweek” where the customer describes the sound and the bearing edges are cut according to their sonic demands. When the big boys don’t fit the bill, the little guys won’t leave you hanging with one. Snares and kits are quoted on a case by case basis.

Hand Drum Repair and Tuning:

Whoo hoo!! Are your hand drums sounding bad? We are offering repair, re-skinning and just plain old tuning for your prized instruments. Inquire within.

Drum Center Certified

The Drum Center certified program is one implemented as a resource to drummers, parents, and casual drummers looking to enhance their craft. DCP fully endorses the Portsmouth Music and Arts Center and suggests and supports their education programs. For one off lessons, or technique brush ups, we have a collective of the finest drummers in the area in which we suggest. The criteria is as follows:

• 5 years teaching experience minimum
• Degree in music
• Ability to sight read
• Active musician
• Outstanding reputation
