Welcome to the inaugural issue of “This Week in Drums,” the first in a new series of bi-monthly posts highlighting the most recent arrivals at the Drum Center of Portsmouth. This is a really great example of the high quality work coming out of Gretsch’s Ridgeland, South Carolina facility.

The Gretsch 8×14 Hammered Brass snare drum features a 1.2mm thin hammered brass shell, 20 lugs, Die Cast hoops, an adjustable Drop-style Throw off, and Evans drum heads (Coated G1 over Hazy 300). If you need a big brass drum that’s a bit drier than the rest, look no further!
