With this in mind they sought out to design an affordable yet durable kit that retained many high-end features you'll find in their Silverstar, Superstar, and Starclassic lines. The result is Imperialstar. Every aspect of the modern drum kit was exhaustively examined, reexamined, and then improved before it was accepted as part of the Imperialstar design.

Tama has meticulously designed the hardware pack. You get a boom cymbal stand, a straight cymbal stand, and a sturdy snare drum stand. If that's not enough, the practically indestructible bass drum pedal and Hi Hat stand have been upgraded as standard features! That's not all, Tama is also including a drum throne!

Got Cymbals? Meinl to the Rescue!

Meinl has developed the HCS with a specific brass alloy to deliver maximum performance and sound. Included in this package are 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash, and a 20" ride.

Ultra low-mass lugs further enable toms and floor toms to reach their full, rich tones. Tama fully supports the idea that good sounding cymbals are critical to an essential acoustic drum set experience, so they have collaborated with Meinl on the cymbal set up and include Meinl's HCS series cymbals. They produce clean sonic separation and are highly durable to allow full dynamic exploration.
