I have been using ambassador drumheads for a very long time. For me it is the go to hell. Especially on snare drums.
Probably the best all around snare batter one can use.
I had been using coated CS batters on my snare. Wanted to try a coated Ambassador. Absolutely love this change. The snare is a lot more sensitive and the drum seems to have more rebound making it more playable. Fits my playing much better from classic rock, to jazz, and even concert band.
These are great heads for the young drummer.
