The drum-tec pro 3 series tom pads are equipped with a unique multi-trigger technology that includes three head triggers and one rim trigger. These triggers are strategically mounted around a specially designed damping cushion located in the center of the drum shell. This innovative configuration eliminates any potential hotspots and gives drummers a wider playing surface for increased flexibility. The triggers are able to accurately detect hits at any drumhead tension, allowing for precise sensitivity and optimal velocity. Additionally, a rim trigger is placed below the cushion to ensure the detection of rim hits on the tom pads.
The pro 3's bass drum boasts a newly adjusted and accurately aligned single trigger system. This adjustment ensures that beats from both the right and left beaters are consistently detected with equal sensitivity, even when using a double pedal.
