The revival of the George Way Drum Company by Ronn Dunnett in 2007 pays homage to one of America's most legendary drum manufacturers. This George Way Tuxedo Studio snare drum features a unique 4-ply, electronic-bonded maple/poplar shell with 2-ply reinforcement rings and 30 degree bearing edges. The thin, high gloss lacquer-finished shell produces a classically fat, warm tone with good sensitivity and a surprisingly deep fundamental pitch that will fit well in any musical situation. George Way hardware is top-notch and is finished with AAA chrome plated parts. Rounding out this drum are streamlined chrome-plated lugs, double-edged/double-flanged hoops, "beer tap" style strainer, single-point butt plate with tension knob, 20-strand wires, and Dunnett Res-o-Tone & Cristal drum heads.
