Robot re-imagines this classic geometry in three dimensions, machining the lattice across the entire shell to create a drum that is as visually stunning as it is sonically powerful.

The Build

• CNC Machined Shell: 10-ply maple precision-machined with the intricate Kumiko pattern.
• Mass Reduction: Strategic machining lightens the shell, lowering its fundamental resonant frequency to give you a deeper, more resonant tone.
• Machined Vents: The Robot logo is machined directly through the shell, acting as vents that allow the drum heads to breathe freely, which enhances the drum's response and projection.
• Italian Leather Inlays: The Robot logo is laser-cut from premium Italian leather and meticulously hand-inlaid into the machined shell for a striking, custom finish.
• Hardware: The Robot Lug One lugs are are made of a glass-fiber reinforced composite. These low-mass lugs allow the drum to resonate more fully, maximizing the rich tonal qualities of the machined shell.
• Throw Off: Available with the Robot TO-One composite throw-off.
• Hoops: Stocked with 2.3mm triple flanged hoops.
