I am perfectly pleased with the sound and approach in design.
The wood washers are the best method for insulating screws from the drum shells.
The chrome is very lustrious but there is pitting in the chrome on many of the bass drum claws and some of the drum lugs.
I have never seen this on a high end set of drums (i.e. Gretsch, Sonar, DW, Noble & Cooley etc.), especially on a new set!
These are some of the makers I considered before purchasing my set.
I am worried that in time the chrome will deteriorate as well as the visual pitting
chrome on a new set.

I don't want to return the set but, I would hope this issn't an issue,
Also, some of the screws holding the lugs to the shell were loose.
I went over the entire set to tighten them.

I want your company to succeed as it fills a hole not covered by the other
high end drum companies but, you have a quality control problem.

Your dealers wouldn't tend to reveal this as they want to sell them rather
than dealing with a manufacturer's return process.
Independent on-line reviewers as well as customers may point out the quality issues.
