Unlike conventional snare drums that compete for attention in the busy upper-mid frequencies, this 14" x 7" hybrid snare provides a dense, warm, and highly focused low-end strike that anchors the band. Constructed from a combination of dry walnut and dark birch, and paired with Canopus’s proprietary bearing edges, the BA-1470 maintains razor-sharp definition and stick clarity even when tuned low, eliminating sloppy head chatter and unruly overtones in both live mixes and studio recordings.
