This 16-inch Evans EQ3 smooth white resonant head uses a single 7.5mil ply with a 10mil internal overtone-control ring. Its unported surface produces a warm, punchy response with a short, controlled decay.
The tom hoop is shaped for metal flange counter hoops. Built-in damping helps keep the response controlled for microphones in both recording and live environments.
