Evans EQ4 Calftone Drumhead 16"
This 16-inch Evans EQ4 Calftone head recreates the look and warmth of calfskin with a synthetic construction. A single 12mil Mylar base is blended with a special fiber surface to bring out full middle and low frequencies while retaining definition in the attack.
The tom-hoop version fits metal flange counter hoops. A fixed internal overtone ring tightens the response for a punchier sound at lower and medium playing volumes; this model supports batter or resonant use.
