The 22-inch Evans Hydraulic Black bass drumhead places a thin oil layer between a 6.5mil ply and a 7.5mil ply. The oil controls unwanted overtones, producing the deep, compact sound associated with early-1970s rock drumming.
Defined attack, short sustain and a dark tonal character help keep the drum focused. The Hydraulic design is easy to tune, including on drums that are difficult to control; Level 360 supports even seating.
