Gibraltar 6716 6000 Series Heavy Double Braced Bongo Stand

Rock solid and bombproof. Glad I got the heavy one. Got a beautiful LP bongo, just too heavy and uncomfortably shaped to fit between my geriatric knees for prolonged play. Drum was a snug fit in fully open position, took a single turn to secure it in place. Used a layer of thin shelf liner material to protect the upper and lower surfaces of the block, and I'm STOKED! Standing is most comfortable for me anyway. Great adjustments, heavy duty hardware, saved nearly $100 compared to other brands. I think the stabilizing bracket under the drum is an important feature, others don't have this. Thank you Drum Center of Portsmouth!
