Gibraltar SC-GBDIMM Bass Drum Internal Mic Mount

Love the simplicity of this mount. I considered the Kelly Shu, and I still like that idea but this is simpler to set up and does essentially the same thing. Also, I watched several videos about internal kick drum miking and it's not always good to have the mic pointed at the center of the kick drum head. Often times you get deeper tone and better sound having it off center

I learned about this on Mike Malone’s YouTube channel. It’s a great solution for an internal mic when using a front head without a port. Since I use a snare stand for my high tom, I just run the mic cable through the unused tom mount hole. Great idea.
