Gretsch Limited Edition 140th Anniversary 5pc Drum Set Ebony Stardust

Friedrich Gretsch established his small music shop in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1883, crafting drums, banjos, and tambourines. Little did anyone know that his business on Middleton Street would one day become one of the most esteemed drum companies globally. Today, 140 years later, Gretsch Drums are regarded as some of the most iconic instruments in the history of music.

To commemorate the 140th anniversary of the company, Gretsch is delighted to introduce the Limited Edition Gretsch 140th Anniversary drum kit. Each of these kits is meticulously crafted to pay tribute to the illustrious Gretsch legacy and offer drummers a prized collector's item that fans will cherish for years to come.

The 140th limited edition kit boasts a 6-ply maple/poplar/gum hybrid shell, which is coated in a glossy Ebony Stardust lacquer finish. The kit is adorned with nickel-plated hardware, which further enhances its visual appeal. Every kit comes with a set of custom-designed drum bags and a certificate of authenticity signed by Fred Gretsch and the factory artisans responsible for building them.

This 5-piece configuration includes a 22x16 bass drum with double tom arm, 10x7 & 12x8 toms, 16x14 floor tom, and matching 14x6.5 snare drum.

To maintain the exclusivity of these drum sets, production will be restricted to 70 kits for each configuration.
