Carlos “Patato” Valdez left behind a legacy that inspires percussionists to this day. LP's Patato Signature Fiberglass congas are 30” tall and feature a wide belly and a narrow bottom. This results in a drum that projects deep bass tones and crisp highs with significant volume. The fiberglass shell also features a steel ring embedded at the bearing edge for added strength and stability.
