Ludwig Supraphonic Hammered Brass Snare Drum – 14x5 with Tube Lugs

The Ludwig LB420BKT Supraphonic delivers the iconic sound that has defined professional snare performance for decades. Crafted from hand-hammered brass, this 14x5 drum produces a bright, cutting tone with excellent projection and sensitivity. The unique hand-hammering process—the same technique Ludwig applies to their timpani—creates natural variations in each drum's voice, ensuring every instrument has its own character and tonal signature. This snare excels in studio and live settings where clarity and articulation matter. The responsive brass shell captures every nuance of your playing, from delicate ghost notes to powerful cracks. Whether you're tracking in the studio or commanding the stage, the Supraphonic's balanced tone cuts through the mix without overwhelming the overall sound.
