After a few years of reconfiguring production processes, Ludwig has thankfully reintroduced the Supraphonic Bronze Snare Drum, offering once more the harmonious blend of wood and metal snare drum characteristics. Bronze – a soft, dark alloy, commonly associated with cymbal-making – creates a warm tone with projection that's uncommon in a wood drum. The seamless, raw shell of this bronze snare drum generates a round, resonant quality that helps shape the tonal profile. This particular model sports 10 Imperial lugs, triple-flanged hoops, a P88AC throw off, and a raw finish.
