This 6.5x14 Ludwig Legacy Mahogany snare drum is a decidedly modern version of their vintage shell formula. The classic Mahogany / Poplar / Mahogany 3-ply shell construction from Ludwig's Golden Era is revered for it's clean, pure tone. This unique shell combination is further stabilized by specially rounded bearing edges along with solid maple reinforcement rings.
