The Maple Burl Blaze Finish Is – Simply Put – Fire!
This Special Edition add-on tom features a stunning Exotic Wood Grain Maple Burl Veneer finish and is topped off with sleek looking black brushed hardware. Plus, this drum is fitted with a classy special edition gold badge.
The SONIClear II "Halo" mounitng system suspends each tom via four diagonal, lateral and supportive contact "under lug line" points on a one-piece ring suspension system releasing the pressure on the shell more evenly, enabling the shell's full natural vibration and resonance.
Saturn Evolution comes standard with Mapex SONIClear Bearing Edges allowing for the direct transmission of sound, reducing unwanted frequencies and providing a strong fundamental pitch and an effortless tuning experience especially at lower tunings.
The “Sustain Adjustment Knob” on the "Halo" mount can be adjusted to fine-tune the sustain and resonance by controlling the contact area between the mount and shell.
