Meinl Marathon Designer Series 12 1/2 Tumba, Incl. Steely II Stand Leopard Burl

The sond of this tumba is really great - professional level. The material quality is supurb. And it it very pretty. The stand keeps the tumba rock solid and you can have the top a wee bit toward you to make playing easier on the fingers. I recently got third chair in the local wind orchestra. That includes some conga parts. Tuned to D2 at the center, the tumba allows me to play high conga near the edge and low conga in the center. That way I only need one instrument - less expensive and less to transport to rehersal and concerts. Also better where space is limited.
