Meinl Stick & Brush SB601 Calvin Rodgers Signature Drum Sticks

Meinl SB601 Calvin Rodgers Signature Drumsticks – Precision and Feel for Gospel, R&B, and Dynamic Grooves

Designed in collaboration with gospel and R&B innovator Calvin Rodgers, the Meinl SB601 signature sticks deliver the versatility and control needed for fast-moving, high-definition playing. Built from premium American hickory with a 5A profile, these 16.5" sticks balance reach and rebound for both rapid kit navigation and powerful, grounded grooves. The long taper and round ball tip provide articulate cymbal definition and dynamic sensitivity across drums and cymbals, while consistent weight and pitch matching ensure reliable feel from stick to stick. Rodgers prioritized durability, universal playability, and head-friendly design without sacrificing the stick definition and responsiveness essential to contemporary percussion. The result is a medium-weight stick that responds to touch and dynamics, making it equally at home delivering quick ghost notes or laying down heavy pocket work. German engineering and meticulous quality control guarantee the consistency you need when precision matters.
