The Paiste 900 series have replaced the Alphas, and I really liked the Alphas. They seemed to be a bit of a sleeper in their line, and Paiste has employed some of the technology they've learned from the latest lines they've developed. Having the Colorsounds back make it even better. These sound awesome!

The 900 Series is created from Paiste's industry standard CuSn8 bronze alloy, and refined with Swiss craftsmanship by hand hammering and lathing. A special darker finish amplifies the lathing grooves and hammer marks for a gorgeous appearance that blends roughness and elegance. This 18" China cymbal gives you tremendous quality for the price.
