I only wish the PDP Concept was around when I was looking for my first serious drum kit. These sound awesome. Personally, I'd change the heads, but as you can hear in our demo, they sound great with the supplied heads.

As a career drummer with years of studio and touring experience, I've owned and currently own some of the highest-end kits on the market. However, I was craving something new and also wanted to explore new gear. After over a month of research, I landed on the PDP kit. Though I’ve never been a huge fan of DW, I kept returning to this option after watching multiple videos highlighting its versatility and the quality of its tone.
I’ve only played one gig with it so far, but it performed like a dream. It tuned up incredibly fast, and the European Maple really sings. It’s so easy to dial in the sound I want. For someone who's been loyal to Ludwig for years, this is a bit of a departure from what I’d normally go for, but I’m really glad I made the switch. There’s no need to drop $2000+ on a high-end kit when this one offers such great quality at a more reasonable price. I’ve spent plenty of time and money on those premium kits, and this one delivers just as much.
