Pearl's EZ Twist Rope Tuners are constructed of Mahogany wood and are designed for use on rope-tuned instruments like djembes and ashikos. EZ Twist Rope Tuners allow you to quickly change the pitch of your drum. They look like an elongated "S" and you slip one curved end under a tuning rope and twist it over to tighten the tension of the drum head. The more you use the greater the difference in pitch. The EZ Twist Rope Tuners are available in a black finish, and come in a 10-Pack. EZ Twist Rope Tuners should be used with caution on drums with a lacquer finish. The tight friction can mar the finish.
