The Pearl 5x14 SensiTone Beaded Brass Snare Drum has a raw-finished 1.2mm shell that projects a cutting but musical resonance, without the metallic highs you tend to get from a steel snare. This shell is able to sustain its tone thanks to CL bridge lug design, which has minimal contact with the shell. The Pearl SuperHoop II Hoops also give the shell a little extra room to breathe. The STA1450FBN also comes equipped with a Gladstone-Style Throw Off that is durable and highly adjustable.
