Picked up these 7A maple sticks at a super low price, with my regular maple sticks being $12 - $14 these days, these are great relief. They are quite well made and very light weight which I like, the side stick sound is a little bit thin (since it's light and a little bit shorter than my regular sticks). I use these for band practice since the studio kit's hi-hats chew up all my sticks like Cookie Monster! I might use them for my gigs as well since they're so light to move fast around the kit.
