The 14-inch Remo Controlled Sound Coated Drumhead combines a sensitive outer playing area with a reinforced center. The outer film keeps the midrange responsive, while the laminated black dot focuses the tone and strengthens the main striking area.
The Black Dot construction uses a single 10mil coated ply and a 5mil bottom dot. The resulting attack balances definition and projection with overtone control, offering the responsive feel of a medium-weight head and reinforcement where it is struck most often. The series is available in 6- to 18-inch sizes.
