During the original 'Golden Era' of Rogers Drums, the brand was renowned for pioneering innovative drum products and techniques that had never been seen before. With that same spirit of innovation, we proudly introduce the Covington Series Drum Kits, crafted using Rogers' proprietary shell-building technology.

To achieve the classic, crisp, and wide-open Rogers Drum sound we all know and love, each drum shell undergoes a heat-bending lamination process. After being molded, glued, and air-dried to vintage specifications, the shells are meticulously hand-built in our USA workshop. The response from those who have played the new Covington drums—including many vintage Rogers kit owners—has been overwhelmingly positive. As one player put it, "These shells resonate for days."

The heat-bending process (distinct from steam bending) involves heating 2mm thick solid plies of wood in our proprietary molds and then fusing them together through a multi-step procedure. Rogers is the only company using this unique method. Combined with the application of the interior fruitwood stain and the precision hand-cutting and assembly of the shells, we deliver that unmistakable Dyna-Sonic sound in every drum we make.
