Roland V-Drums Quiet Design

Roland V-Drums are known for being some of the quietest electronic drums on the market, due to years of advanced research, precision engineering, and the option to play through headphones. Still, even with these features, the noise from striking the pads and the vibrations from kick and hi-hat pedals can sometimes be disruptive to others in the same space. These vibrations can travel through the floor, causing noise to resonate in other rooms.

The V-Drums Quiet Design addresses this issue. While they may resemble traditional V-Drums, each component is designed specifically to reduce noise. The pads and hardware have been engineered to dramatically lower the sound of playing, while sound-absorbing materials isolate the vibrations, ensuring that drumming energy stays contained and doesn’t carry into adjacent areas.

Engineered for Quiet Performance

Making V-Drums even quieter required extensive research into sound transmission, construction materials, and the development of new techniques to address drumming noise. Detailed testing in specialized facilities has shown that the VQD106 V-Drums Quiet Design kit reduces noise by an impressive 75% compared to a conventional V-Drums kit. The kick and hi-hat are exceptionally smooth and quiet, while stick hits on the pads produce sound levels comparable to a normal conversation within the same room.

Noise-Isolating Stand and Pedal Bases

Our innovative stand and pedal bases complete the V-Drums Quiet Design experience by preventing any remaining clicks, thumps, and vibrations from transferring to the floor and other rooms in your living space. Special hemispherical rubber feet on the stand isolate pad noise, while the dedicated NEQ-K and NEQ-H bases for the kick and hi-hat pedals feature a unique rubber foot design that effectively contains foot stomps. These bases have been newly developed for the V-Drums Quiet Design series, building on the design of our popular NE-10 Noise Eater product.

Powerful TD-07 Sound Module

The TD-07 sound module offers a versatile range of high-quality acoustic and electronic drum sounds, captured in professional studios and powered by advanced V-Drums technology. You can personalize each sound by swapping drums, adjusting tunings, adding damping, and using EQ to shape the perfect tone. With built-in Bluetooth, you can stream audio from smartphones and tablets directly through the module for seamless jamming or video lessons. Additionally, the USB connectivity allows you to record stereo audio and MIDI into a DAW, trigger computer-based instruments, and integrate with coaching software like Melodics™, which offers free interactive lessons for V-Drums users.
