Slingerland Zoomatic Snare Throw-Off Nickel

Great fit to original throw off mounting holes. Works smoothly and the nickel finish is beautiful

It fit a mid 1960's Slingerland snare drum perfectly. At first the strainer was operating very stiffly. I had to add a little machine greese to the threads of the tension knob. Also, I had to remove the back plate and put a drop of very light machine oil on the parts. After that, it operated smoothly and perfectly.

I'm familiar with Zoomatic Snare Strainers, but there does not appear to be a way to attach this redesigned version to the drum. Outreach included to Slingerland support hasn't resulted in a solution.
Seems to me This item should come with installation instructions.
