Fundamentally, the Sonor SQ1 is are going to be the sound of the Sonor Lites. Or Birch Designer or Sq2. If you want THAT sound, biting, consistent, sharp and quick, this is it. I've owned several birch Sonor kits over the years and I can't get away from them.

The SQ1 line is made in Germany to incredibly tight tolerances, which gives the shells a broad tuning range and tremendous versatility.
