Tama RW200 Rhythm Watch 3 DEMO MODEL

This purchase was for a Tama Rhythm Watch RW200 listed on DCP's site as a "demo model" and priced at $79.95, which is about $20.00 less than a brand new one, and I purchased it because it had a couple of updated features. I have an older version RW100 so I was somewhat familiar with functionality. The Rhythm watch arrived quickly and after opening I discovered the battery compartment cover was broken and it was held in place with packing tape. There was a minor scratch on the exterior which I didn't care about. I expected the cosmetic issue because the item was listed as a demo, but the broken battery cover was an unexpected surprise. The unit works fine and I have secured the battery compartment cover with fresh tape. I use a power adaptor with this and I don't plan on opening the compartment very often. All said, I probably would have purchased a new RW200 if I had known about the issue.
