This 6.5x14 Tama Sound Lab Project Black Brass snare drum has a relatively thick, 1.5mm brass shell and 2.3mm flanged Steel Mighty Hoops. The resulting sound is round and warm that projects clearly through any mix. While the Tama LBR1465 gives you beautifully fat brass tone at a price point that is hard to beat, it's still a rugged, road worthy snare drum.
