Tama Star Reserve Limited Edition Solid Birdseye Maple Snare Drum 14x6.5

This very limited Star Reserve Solid Maple snare drum is produced in the Tama Japan ultra high-end drum making facility. Constructed out of a solid (single-ply) maple shell, the 14"x6.5" shell is 8mm thick, has 8mm Sound Focus Rings with a subtle Birdseye Maple shell exterior. The shell is outfitted with 8 tube lugs and TAMA's 2.3mm Sound Arc hoops, all finished in chrome. This combination gives the natural satin oil finished shell an added boutique appearance. Sonic details include well-balanced, bright and cutting tones of maple with huge tuning range. This is an extremely versatile sounding snare drum. TAMA's MLS50A/MLS50B throw-off/butt-plate (finished in chrome) give smooth, detailed and sensitive snare adjustment for the MS20RL14C 20-strand snare wires.
