Toca Stage Djembe 12 Natural w/Bag

The Toca Stage Series Djembes combine the natural quality of an instrument made from a single piece of wood with modern carving and lathing techniques. The mahogany shell is kiln dried and treated with up to 20 coats of teak oil to help preserve the wood. The interior of the bowl has also been lathed with lateral grooves, reducing the amount of overtones in the sound and giving you a more focused fundamental tone. Each authentic goatskin head is also hand-picked. These drums are rope-tuned in the traditional fashion, using low-stretch alpine rope.This 24" x 12" drum also comes with its own heavy-duty padded bag, complete with adjustable shoulder straps and exterior pockets to hold kessing or other small accessories.
