This system is significantly lighter and easier to use than conventional tuning mechanisms, solving the common dilemma of choosing between heavy, tunable drums and light, un-tunable drums. The tuning hardware is cleverly hidden inside the drum, eliminating the bulky, external parts that often get in the way.
