This DW Collector's Series maple kit from the late '90s is in fair condition. It appears to be from the early run of DW’s in-house shell manufacturing, as evidenced by the interlocking, finger-jointed reinforcement rings.
This is a "player's kit" that shows signs of regular use and gigging. There are several scuffs, scratches, and small dings on the shells and hardware. The chrome hardware shows pitting and spots of adhesive residue, and the bass drum batter hoop has pedal rash. While the heads are overdue for a replacement, these drums will look great with a thorough cleanup and they certainly sound amazing. This is an excellent kit for gigging or for someone looking to restore a classic DW kit from a pivotal point in the company's history.
The sizes are 20x16 Bass Drum (with mount), 10x8 Tom, 12x9 Tom, and 14x11 Suspended Tom. A double tom mount is included. The tom stand seen in the photos holding the 14x11 tom is NOT included.
