Used Gretsch Grand Prix Aluminum Snare Drum 14x6.5 - Very Good

I have an INDē rolled aluminum kit and typically use a stave or an acrylic snare with it. I play in weddings and though my current snares sounded good, they just weren’t quite as adaptable as I wanted. I have an acrolite (mid 80s, 5.5x14) and I like it but it also didn’t quite fit and just wasn’t quite the vibe. I had my heart set on a DW or PDP Concept 6.5x14 but was shown this Gretsch snare that came in used. I had and really enjoyed my steel 4160ss and 4160 (cob) and hadn’t considered an aluminum Gretsch. After playing it at DCP I took it home. I used it this past weekend at a gig and I’m in love.
