Used Vintage Gretsch Round Badge 4pc Drum Set Blue Sparkle - Good

This is a beautiful "player’s grade" Gretsch Round Badge kit (circa 1966) in its original Blue Sparkle wrap. Perfect for the studio or the stage, this kit features the legendary 6-ply maple/poplar shells with original Silver Sealer interiors and internal orange/white paper tags.

All toms feature adjustable internal muffling on both batter and resonant side. The bass drum has adjustable felt strip dampening on the batter side.

Condition:
The original rail consolette was replaced in the 1970s with a factory-correct Gretsch #4937 double tom holder. This provides rock-solid stability and independent positioning for both rack toms. The original rail mounting holes remain visible.

The Blue Sparkle wrap is original and remains vibrant with minimal vintage wear. The shells are clean with 30-degree bearing edges.

Includes original Gretsch die-cast hoops on all toms for that focused, warm tone.

Note: There is noticeable "player's wear" on the bass drum hoops, typical for a kit of this vintage.
