Used Vintage Gretsch '60s Round Badge Drum Set 18/13/16 Aqua Satin Flame - Good

This is a rare, vintage 1960s Gretsch Round Badge 3pc drum set in the unique and highly sought-after 18/13/16 configuration. Finding an original 18" bass drum from this era is increasingly difficult, making this an incredible opportunity for jazz players or collectors looking for that authentic "Great Gretsch Sound".

This kit is in true players' condition. The original Aqua Satin Flame wrap shows visible cracking and "spider-webbing," which is characteristic of this fragile vintage finish. While the aesthetic has a "relic'ed" charm, it does not affect the structural integrity of the 6-ply maple/gumwood shells.

Shells & Interiors: Original silver sealer is present with intact orange/grey paper tags. Bearing edges are smooth and original. No extra drill holes. Includes the original tone controls (batter and reso-side on the toms, batter side only on the bass), which are fully functional.

Please note there is some very minor ply separation present on the resonant side of the bass drum (see photo).

Hardware: Includes the original rail consolette mount, bass-drum-mounted cymbal arm and die-cast hoops. Some pitting is present on the chrome, typical for its age.
