Slingerland's most famous product line is the Radio King series of drums. Bass drums and tom-toms were made from mahogany, with maple reinforcement hoops. Radio King snare drums were created from a single piece of steam-bent maple with solid maple reinforcement rings.

These drums are most likely from the 1930s or 1940s. They are in great condition for their age! The snare drum hoop has a few dents. The snare throw off is functional. All the mounts and spurs on the bass drum are functional. One of the cymbal arms is missing the wing nut, felts, and base. The front bass drum muffler is missing the felts that were originally on it. The internal mufflers in the toms and snare drum are intact and functional.

The floor tom appears to have the original calfskin heads. They are somewhat warped. We recommend replacing these with Remo Classic Fit or Aquarian American Vintage heads.
