Inspired by vintage designs, The Vater VWTB brushes pay homage to classic styles from decades past. Unearthed from Jack Adams’ collection—Alan Vater’s grandfather and a jazz and big band drummer who ran Jack’s Drum Shop in Boston—they were custom-made for Jack himself. Featuring a .530” grip for a lighter, more responsive feel and thinner gauge wires, these brushes offer increased flexibility and a soft, authentic swish sound. The reddish-brown rubber grip honors both the vintage brush tradition and Boston’s “Beantown” heritage, where Vater’s drumstick craftsmanship began.
