good replacement for Regal Tip
GREAT sticks! I use these Nylon tips on my eKit (I use their wood tipped version on acoustics). One tip: I add a coat of polyurethane to boost resilience...keeps them looking new, too. I only gave 4 stars because I wish Vater added the coating
I have developed some wrist issues so, I am switching from hickory to maple. I have been searching for the right stick to replace my Promark 747 hickory nylon tips. I love the light weight of the maple and the way maple feels in my hands. The Vater 5A's Nylon are excellent sticks, just not quite the right size for me.
