Bill Bachman is renowned within the marching world as a multi-tenor drumming guru. He has instructed many award-winning groups including the Bluecoats, Blue Knights and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. He is the author of several instructional books and DVDs, as well as a contributing writer for Modern Drummer magazine. The drop-down fulcrum notch gives the front fingers better access for quick finesse playing while allowing the back of the stick to taper up and match the contour of the hand.
