Vintage Slingerland 3pc "Jet Outfit" Drum Set Grey Agate Pearl

These drums are VERY rare. This particular set was offered in their 1967-1968 catalog. What makes this so unique is that the bass drum has the 20" metal hoops on the bass drum. Slingerland made a pedal called the "Snap-On" pedal to clamp on to this hoop which is not included. The set is in original condition, (with the original heads!) and is in EXCELLENT condition for its age. The wrap seams are all tight, and it appears this didn't get used a lot.

There is a cymbal mount installed on the bass drum which was not shown as an option in the catalog. It appears this was done either at the factory, or by the dealer when the original owner took delivery of the set.
