Something about the classic Avedis alloy at this medium thin weight just works on all levels. The tone is slightly dark and complex. The crash is immediately explosive, and the sustain falls right in the medium sweet spot with just the right amount of wash. You need to hear these crash cymbals.
The relaunch of the new Zildjian A series was huge. These are classic Zildjians. When I think of the classic sounds, especially the 60s and 70s, this is the sound, but even better.
