Description
This cymbal stand has been developed based on Jeff Hamilton’s requests for a stand to suit all his practical requirements. It can be folded to a very small size (23.5" long), and it features a gearless tilter, plastic tilter sleeve, and pipe caps which eliminate metal-against-metal noise. It also features a thinner 6mm tilter shaft allowing it to accomodate vintage cymbals.

I purchased 3 Canopus (Jeff Hamilton) flat based cymbal stands recently. They’re light weight (which is great), yet very sturdy for my 20” ride, 22” ride, and 22” china cymbals. Extremely happy with the build quality, it’s tilt head for easy positioning, and the fact they aren’t so heavy. It’s no surprise Canopus makes such top professional quality hardware. The company manufactures top end gear from drum kits, snare drums, hardware, and accessories. Highly recommend buying at Drum Center of Portsmouth, their great staff, pricing, and equipment selection is fantastic. Shout out to Jayme for all his help, and support, he’s awesome. I rate these stands 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 drums instead of stars !!!
