A special darker finish amplifies the lathing grooves and hammer marks for a gorgeous appearance that blends roughness and elegance. What makes Sound Edge Hats so special is due to their extra pneumatic hammering along the edge of the bottom cymbal. The result is greater articulation between the top and bottom cymbals. SE hats are very responsive with a lively intensity and a crisp stick sound. The medium top / medium bottom hats produce an articulate, slightly darker tone with medium to loud volume that is sharp, energetic, and suitable for a variety of genres.
