The PDQ-8S snare pad incorporates a noise-absorbing honeycomb rubber insert beneath a mesh head. Precision-engineered vents on the underside of the playing surface help dissipate air pressure, further minimizing noise. Additionally, the soft rubber rim covering ensures that rimshots are also quiet. Despite these advanced noise-reducing features, playability remains exceptional, offering the excellent stick feel and natural rebound expected from a top-tier V-Drums pad.
